I love this non-apology “explanation” for how you took your life in your own two hands and made decisions for yourself. You have always seemed like a free spirit, yet to have built a business like Jeni’s Splendid, it’s natural that there were some fetters. I think it’s cyclical in some ways - we burst forth and create, then over time the creative vision becomes cultivated and we need to burst forth and create again. Here’s to no regrets going forward!
It’s true. You give your life to something…but also you have to let it breathe and evolve. And that’s so cool! And by stepping away I was able to evolve, too.
